We carry out leak detection surveys on buried gas distribution and transmission networks using specialist gas detection equipment. Leaks in buried gas mains are located using a combination of acoustic listening, tracer gas injection, and surface scanning — depending on pipe material, operating pressure, depth, and ground conditions. Our operatives have extensive experience working on PE gas pipelines as well as steel mains. All surveys are carried out with written leak location reports issued on completion.
