Electrofusion (EF) jointing of polyethylene pressure pipelines to WIS 4-32-08, carried out by EUSR certified welders with full fusion records per joint.
Get a QuoteElectrofusion (EF) jointing is used to join polyethylene (PE) water main pipe sections and fittings where butt fusion welding is not appropriate — typically for couplers, elbows, tees, reducers, and saddle tapping assemblies. All EF jointing is carried out in accordance with WIS 4-32-08 (Specification for the Fusion Jointing of Polyethylene Pressure Pipeline Systems Using PE80 and PE100 Materials), as required under IW-CDS-5020-03 Section 4.10.3.3. Our EUSR certified welders maintain full fusion traceability records per joint, and GPS co-ordinates are recorded at each joint location for submission as part of the Final Documents required for Conformance Certificate application by Irish Water.
